Cygor basing ideas

 So recently I acquired the start collecting beasts of chaos. I've been painting the cygor for about five days now and it is almost finished which means it needs a good base. Although I originally planned for a greek theme for my beasts of chaos the cygor itself is based on the chort.

    

The way I imagine the base would be a circular temple with two levels.The flagstone base would be covered in stones and broken statues.The cygor would stand on the higher level. After some deliberation I decided to base the base off of the Quistorp tower in poland. However it will have some greek elements such as columns as well as statues which weren't originally present in the tower. The Main staircase will serve as a entrance to the higher level and will have a mural of a gryphon on it. Two plinths will contain statues in different levels of decay and the ruins will be covered in moss.

If any of you have ideas for lore or for bits I could use in the base I would gladly accept!
